Mr. Choudhri is a seasoned banker and a prominent finance professional with the diverse experience spanning over three decades in top-rated commercial and investment banks, and DFIs of Pakistan. He has the privilege of serving at senior level positions within multi-product environments in various roles including business development, corporate/ investment banking, risk management, special assets management and operations. During his professional career Mr. Choudhri has demonstrated exemplary leadership in all his roles and has always been able to outperform his targets and peers in terms of business growth, strengthening of controls, creating ethical and efficient organizational environment and developing a customer-centric culture.

He is also presently serving as an Executive Vice President & Regional Corporate Head, Lahore at the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) where he manages one of the largest corporate client.. portfolios in the country. Before taking up this role in 2018, he served as the Divisional Head – Asset Recovery Division North at NBP where he achieved one of the highest ever NPL reductions in his tenure in a time of 3 years. Earlier, has also served at senior various positions at PAIR Investment Company, Trust Investment Bank, Crescent Commercial Bank, Fidelity Investment Bank. He has also completed his Articles from M/s A F Ferguson & Company, Chartered Accountant (Member Company of PWC).

Mr. Choudhri is an SECP-certified director, completing his Directors Training Program from LUMS, is an MBA in Finance and also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Banking & Insurance from the U.K.

Mr. Asim Murtaza Khan (Non-Executive Independent Director)

Mr. Khan is working as CEO (Hon) with the Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (PIP), a Think Tank of the petroleum industry, since November 2015. Prior to that he worked for Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) for over 32 years and served on key senior positions, including operations and general management. Mr. Khan was also responsible for Bolan Mining Enterprises, a 50:50 joint venture of PPL and the Government of Baluchistan for mining of barites, iron ore and lead- zinc; and was one of the founder Directors of PPL’s overseas subsidiary companies, PPL Europe E&P Ltd. and PPL Asia E&P B.V. Mr. Khan was appointed MD/CEO of PPL by the Government of Pakistan on May 12, 2011 and he superannuated from service in February 2015.

He earned his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi (NED UET) followed by a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), UK, and is an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA.

He is a Central Council Member and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP). He is also the Chair of the Petroleum Engineering Advisory Board and a member of the Academic Council of NED UET.

Mr. Asim Jilani (Non-Executive Director) – Nominee Director

Mr. Jilani has been appointed as Director on Board of Agritech Limited as Nominee from Faysal Bank Limited. Senior banking professional with sound managerial & leadership experience over 19 years with prime financial institutions. Proven track record of superior performance achieved through effective planning, teamwork and application of professional technical skill set. Skilled in Corporate and Commercial Banking, Trade Finance Products, credit risk and Islamic Finance. Strong consulting professional with Master’s degree focused in Business Management, Marketing and related Support Services form Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.

Mr. Asim Jilani is currently working as a General Manager –Special Asset Management Group of Faysal Bank Limited. He also had an experience of an Assistant General Manager & Unit Head in Samba Financial Group, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Jilani had also worked as a Vice President & Regional Manager in RBS Pakistan. He also served as Assistant Vice president in Citi Bank Pakistan.

Mr. Hassan Raza (Non-Executive Director) – Nominee Director

A Senior Banker with thirty years of experience and demonstrated history of working in leadership roles with multinational and local banks. Banking career began with Standard Chartered Bank in 1990, as a Management Trainee. Over the years, he has worked with large foreign and local banks, including Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of America, National Bank of Pakistan, United Bank Limited, Habib Bank Limited and Habib Metro, domestically and overseas. Presently, he is working as Group Head Corporate Banking & SME Relationships Group at Silk Bank Limited.

An Aitchisonian from Lahore, Hassan is an MBA from The International University, USA, Lahore Campus and a Masters in Economics from Karachi.

Mr. Osman Malik (Non-Executive Director) – Nominee Director

Mr. Osman Malik is a senior banker and nominated by National Bank of Pakistan on the board of Agritech Limited as Nominee Director. He is currently working as EVP/ SCO Asset Recovery Group at National Bank of Pakistan, Head office, Karachi. He was appointed on the board of company on Feb 22, 2022.

Mr. Ghazzanfar Ahsan (Non-Executive Director) – Nominee Director

Mr. Ghazzanfar Ahsan is serving in Summit Bank Limited since 2007 and part of Management team. He was associated with Corporate & Investment Banking department as Unit Head uptill 2018 and afterward looking after the affairs as Group Head – Special Assets Management Department (SAMD) in cadre of Executive Vice President. Additionally also performed the role of Acting Head Islamic Banking from Feb 2019 till Feb 22. Also serving as Nominee Director on the Board of Agritech Ltd and also part of BAC & BHRC.

Earlier, he was associated with Faysal Bank Ltd for 6 years and worked in Investment Banking, Financial Institutions Division & Treasury department at senior capacity.

Mr. Ghazzanfar is Masters in Business Administration & a Law Graduate. He is an Advocate – High Court and member of Sindh Bar Council & Karachi Bar Council. He is also completed Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) from Centre of Islamic Economics (CIE). He is holding certification of Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) & Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE). He also completed certified Director course from IBA.

He has over 24 years of diversified experience, which comprises his expertise in asset side Lending (Conventional & Islamic Banking Products) beside in-depth understanding of transactions relate to Commercial, Corporate & Investment Banking, Special Asset Management, legal affairs, Islamic Banking, Treasury, Financial Institutions and Information Technology department with focus on accounting, financial modeling & restructuring, financial analysis, investment evaluation, credit risk analysis, structuring of long term debt / Capital Market /Real estate transactions, IT project implementation with thorough understanding of accounting and administrative issues at operational level.

Ms. Sarwat Salahuddin Khan (Non-Executive Independent Director)

Sarwat Salahuddin Khan is a legal professional who has worked in leading law firms, Education, Oil & Gas, and Telecom sectors. She has over 19 years of diversified experience in Legal & Regulatory, Ethics & Compliance, Investigations and Enforcement as well as Project Management.

She holds an LL.B. from the University of Punjab and an LL.M. from the University of Durham, U.K. She is a qualified Director from Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and is presently on the Board of Agritech Limited. Sarwat is also a certified Trainer and has conducted several Women Executive Leadership trainings.

Mr. Muhammad Faisal Muzammil 

Chief Executive Officer

Appointed as CEO of Agritech Limited on March 14, 2017. Mr. Muhammad Faisal Muzammil holds a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. After completion of his First Tenure as CEO, he was reappointed as CEO on 1 st March, 2020. He has diversified experience of the Fertilizer Sector in all key functions i.e. Sales, Marketing, Strategy & Planning, Gas Management, Government Relations. He joined the Company on June 26, 2006 as Marketing Manager and has grown into Leadership role with continued exposure to all key strategic aspects of the company. Prior to joining Agritech Limited he has experience six years at Engro, two years at DHL and one year LTV Capital Moradabad.
